The police of Elbasan have arrested the 32-year-old man with the initials E. D, who was wanted, because in cooperation with his brother, 1 year ago, they threatened a 34-year-old man to give him 200,000 euros.

Police notification:

A 32-year-old wanted man is arrested, who is accused of threatening a 34-year-old man to give him 200,000 euros in cooperation with his brother, 1 year ago.

Pursuant to the measures defined in the operational plan "Rule of Law", for the capture of wanted citizens, the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person, based on informational intelligence, detained the wanted citizen ED, 32 years old, resident of Belsh.

This citizen was declared a national wanted person, after the Elbasan Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction assigned him the security measure of "Prison arrest", for the criminal offense of "Extortion by means of threats or violence to give away property", committed in cooperation, and "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The citizen ED, on 12.08.2023, in cooperation with his brother (arrested before, in the framework of the "Pressure" operation), allegedly threatened a 34-year-old citizen to give him the amount of 200,000 euros, allegedly stemming from joint criminal activities in the field of narcotics, carried out abroad.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions./ CNA
