Threatened woman with cutting tool/ 64-year-old man arrested in Korça

Korça Police have prevented a criminal incident in the family.

64-year-old AL has been arrested, suspected of threatening his wife for weak motives.

Officers found and seized the knife used for the threat.

Korça/The intervention of the Police services prevents possible criminal events in a family.    

A 64-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife with a knife for weak motives.          

The services of the Korça Police Commissariat, after receiving the notification that in neighborhood no. 11, Korça, a citizen threatened his wife with a cutting tool (knife), immediately organized the work to prevent a possible criminal incident and bring the perpetrator to criminal responsibility.     

 As a result of the timely response and professional actions of the Police services, citizen AL, 64 years old, resident of Korça, was arrested in flagrante delicto, who is suspected of having threatened his wife several times with a knife, for weak motives. 

Police services have found and seized as material evidence the knife used yesterday for the threat.  

 The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, for further action./ CNA
