The father of the Palestinian woman killed about two months ago has been arrested. 49-year-old FA is the suspected perpetrator of his daughter's murder. His arrest was made in Lebanon with the aim of his extradition to Albania.

The Tirana Court of First Instance has imposed the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" on him, accused of "Murder due to family relations".

 

Police notification

Accused of killing his daughter with a cutting tool about 2 months ago, in an apartment on "Gjon Muzaka" street, the 49-year-old Palestinian was arrested in Lebanon, with the aim of extradition to Albania. Following the in-depth investigations carried out by the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, and as a result of continuous communication with the homologous structures in Lebanon, through Interpol Tirana and Interpol Beirut, the Palestinian citizen, FA, 49 years old, was arrested in Lebanon, with the aim of extradition to Albania.

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Murder due to family relations".

From the investigations so far, it is suspected that citizen FA, in February 2025, in an apartment on "Gjon Muzaka" Street, Tirana, killed his daughter, citizen RA, with a cutting tool.

Cooperation between Interpol structures continues to finalize the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Albania./ CNA
