"Operational" continues/ The 31-year-old man on international wanted

The operation codenamed "Operacionalja" continues, to capture wanted persons. 31-year-old DD has been arrested by the police, and the Pristina Court has ordered him to be placed under "arrest in prison" security measure.

The 31-year-old, accused of "Violation of the law on narcotics (cocaine)", was arrested in the city of Kukës.

His arrest was made with the aim of extraditing him to Kosovo.

Another phase of the police operation codenamed "Operacionalja" is being finalized, to capture internationally wanted persons.

Operation by the Special Operations Force Directorate of the Criminal Police Department.

A 31-year-old man, internationally wanted by Kosovo, has been arrested in Kukës for criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

Following the successive operations conducted by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, another phase of the police operation codenamed "Operacionalja" was finalized this morning, specifically:

Operation 41, within the framework of which, by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, it was possible to locate in the city of Kukës, capture and detain for the purpose of extradition the citizen DD, 31 years old, resident of Kukës.

This citizen is declared an international wanted person after the Court of Pristina/Kosovo, on 14.04.2025, imposed the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" for the criminal offense "Violation of the law on narcotics (cocaine)", as provided for by the Criminal Code of Kosovo.

The operation continues to capture other internationally and nationally wanted persons./ CNA
