RENEA official, Altin Morina, showed in court today the source of 113 thousand euros that were found four days ago in his car.

It is learned that the officer declared in front of the black squads that he borrowed the money from a construction businessman, while he also revealed the latter's name.

He has claimed that the money does not come from criminal activity and he has documentation for it, which he has said he will hand over.

"The money does not come from criminal proceeds, I got it 20 minutes before I was arrested. I am ready to cooperate with justice", he emphasized.

Of the three charges that were initially charged against him, the court overturned two charges and left only the one of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity"./ CNA
