The extradition trial of Russian citizen Svetlana Timofeva has been postponed again.

The court has postponed the next hearing to April 4 at 2:00 p.m., as the defense asked for time to get acquainted with the final conclusions in Russian.

33-year-old Svetlana Timofeva, along with 23-year-old Mikhail Zorin and 25-year-old Ukrainian Fedir Alpatov, are accused of being part of the Russian secret services.

The three foreign citizens were stopped on August 20 of this year by the police of Elbasan, after they tried to enter the weapons processing plant in Gramsh.

Russia is demanding the extradition of the 33-year-old as there she is accused of "Illegal obtaining of information that constitutes a state secret", but she has requested asylum in Albania with the argument that she is in danger./ CNA.al
