In August, 22-year-old Joy Aoko from Kenya, who worked in a casino in Tirana, was brutally raped.

A few weeks ago, she was sent by her family to Kenya, where she died after almost 6 months in a coma. This event has still remained unsolved, while strong accusations have been raised that it is being kept secret.

The victim's mother, Ruth Abongo, has stated to the media that they do not give her the answers to her daughter's expertise.

"The prosecutor told me that she did the expertise with Mother Teresa, but they don't give me the answers because they said that I will publish it in the media", said Abongo.

She again called for justice to reveal the truth of the barbaric violence that took the life of the 22-year-old.

"I will not cry every day. The tears will end soon. I will seek justice as long as I live. Even though the police don't want the truth, it's on Joy's phone. They have the answer until before 4 pm on August 14, 2022. Joy only had one phone," said Joy's mother. / CNA.al
