Large sums of money were seized/ RENEA employee was arrested

A 43-year-old police officer in the Renea Department was put in handcuffs for cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense, concealing income and abuse of office.

Large sums in euros, pounds and Albanian lek are seized as material evidence.

At noon today, thanks to information intelligence that a citizen (police officer) was driving around in an "Audi" type vehicle and had with him a significant amount of money, immediately the services of the "Shqiponja" Special Force organized and finalized the police operation coded " Fast".

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni, te Kodra e Diellit, shërbimet e Forcës së Posaçme Shqiponja kanë konstatuar dhe shoqëruar në ambientet e DVP Tiranë automjetin e dyshuar sëbashku me drejtuesin e tij shtetasin A. M., 43 vjec, banues në Tiranë, me detyrë Shef i Stërvitjes te Reparti Special Renea.

Gjatë kontrollit dhe kryrjes së automjetit rezultoi se në serdiljen e pasagjerit, në vendin e parë të automjetit, ndodhej një qese plasmasi brenda të cilës kishte lekë, euro dhe paund.

Nga numërimi rezultoi se në qesen e palsmasit kishte rreth 113 mijë euro, rreth 290.00 lekë të rinj dhe 80 paund, të cilat u sekuestruan në cilësinë e provës materiale.
