The services of the Vau i Deja Police Station, as a result of preventive work, supported by information intelligence, in order to find and seize firearms that are illegally possessed and that may have been used or may be used for criminal events, have exercised control in an apartment in the village of Vig (uninhabited by its owner, for 5 years).

From the control in this apartment, 2 Kalashnikov firearms and 3 weapon combs were found and seized as material evidence.

As a result of the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the citizen P. Gj., 59 years old, resident of the village of Vig (who used this apartment recently) hid the weapons in this apartment.

Police services continue to work to capture the 59-year-old. 

The investigative structures of the Vau i Deja Police Station, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continue the in-depth investigations with the aim of elucidating and fully documenting this case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Possessing without permission and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
