The special prosecutor in Montenegro is arrested

This morning, by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Department arrested Sasha ?agjenovi? in Montenegro.

It is suspected that Çagjenovic, performing the function of special prosecutor from mid-2020 to 2022, has committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and several criminal offenses of abuse of official position, reports Euronwes.

"The Special State Prosecutor's Office will inform the public about its further actions and the state of the procedure. The presumption of innocence and their public declaration for the procedure is in progress, the other rules of the procedure and the rights of the person against whom the procedure is being carried out should not be violated", said state prosecutor Vukas Radonji?.
