Illegal weapons and narcotics/ Two arrested in Vau e Dejës

The police have cracked down on one case of illegal possession of weapons and one case of possession of narcotics.

As a result, two people were arrested.

DG, 34 years old, was arrested after being caught red-handed with a firearm.

A 29-year-old man was also arrested, who was in possession of a quantity of cannabis.

 

The officers seized a firearm, ammunition and narcotics.

Vau i Dejës/The police operation codenamed "CONTROL" is finalized, 1 case in the field of illegal possession of weapons and 1 case in the field of narcotics are solved.

-The 34-year-old was caught red-handed with a pistol in a bar, and was placed in handcuffs.

 

-The 29-year-old was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs after possessing a quantity of the narcotic cannabis. 

The firearm, ammunition and narcotics were seized.

In implementation of the plan of measures to increase security parameters, by identifying and cracking down on criminal activities, based on information obtained operationally, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, have organized and finalized the operation codenamed "CONTROL".

As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: 

-DG, 34 years old, resident of the village of Bushat, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Police services, during a physical search of citizen DG, in a bar, found on him a firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition;

-JT, 29 years old, resident of the village of Paçram, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

Police services stopped the vehicle in which citizen JT was driving and during a physical search, they found a quantity of suspected cannabis. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
