The Fier Police have made it possible to capture the 58-year-old man with the initials S.Ç, who a few days ago killed a 70-year-old man who was riding a bicycle.

As a result of the accident, the 70-year-old man died, while the driver fled the scene.

Police notification

Fier - The police investigate the accident resulting in the death of a citizen, which happened on 02.11.2022, on the "Fier-Vlorë" road axis.

The 58-year-old man, who, while driving the vehicle, caused the death of the citizen YS and then fled the scene, was identified and arrested.

On 02.11.2022, around 17:30, on the "Fier-Vlorë" road axis, in the village of Ferras, citizen S. Ç., 58 years old, resident of Kraps, Fier, while driving a "Benz" type vehicle, had an accident resulting in the death of citizen YT, 70 years old, a resident of the village of Fitore, who was riding a bicycle. After the accident, citizen S. Ç. has left the scene.

As a result of intensive investigative work by the specialists of the Road Traffic Sector of DVP Fier, it became possible to identify and arrest him.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions./ CNA.al
