Zjarr masiv në një kompleks ndërtesash në Hong Kong/ Humbin jetën 13 persona

Të paktën 13 persona, mes tyre edhe një zjarrfikës, kanë humbur jetën, ndërsa 16 të tjerë janë plagosur rëndë për shkak të një zjarri që shpërtheu dhe vijon ende në një kompleks ndërtesash në Hong Kong.

Flakët kanë përfshirë tetë ndërtesa të kompleksit Wang Fuk Court, ndërsa shumë banorë kanë mbetur të bllokuar brenda apartamenteve të tyre.

Sipas raportimeve të mediave vendase, zjarri është përhapur në disa pjesë të kompleksit, ndërsa Departamenti i Zjarrfikësve ende nuk ka dhënë një afat se kur mund të shuhen plotësisht flakët. Zyrtarët thonë se temperaturat brenda ndërtesave që po digjen po i vështirësojnë përpjekjet për shuarjen e zjarreve.

128 automjete zjarrfikëse, 57 ambulanca, 767 zjarrfikës dhe 400 oficerë policie janë angazhuar në operacionin për fikjen e  zjarrit. Në të njëjtën kohë, më shumë se 700 persona janë transferuar në pesë strehimore të hapura nga zyra lokale e zonës Tai Po. /CNA
