Former leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has announced through a post on social networks that he will not run for MP in the elections to be held on December 28.

Krasniqi announces that he will be the leader of the PDK election campaign and support for prime ministerial candidate Bedri Hamza.

Today, by decision of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, I have assumed the responsibility to lead the party's election campaign, as Head of the Central Electoral Headquarters, on our path to victory on December 28.

These elections are an opportunity to restore normality, stability and development to the country. PDK enters this process more prepared, united and very ready to give the country the direction it deserves.

In this campaign, I will be fully at the service of our campaign, our team, our structures and our common victory. Therefore, after seven mandates as a member of the Assembly of Kosovo, this time I have decided not to be part of our electoral list.

This is a deliberate decision, which allows me to fully dedicate myself to organizing and leading the campaign and providing full support to our President and candidate for Prime Minister, Bedri Hamza.

Let's walk together, with faith and determination, for a better Kosovo for all. /CNA
