The decision for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, Dacic: Shameful

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, reacted to the decision of the Political Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe regarding the acceptance of the recommendation for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.

In his reaction, Dacic said that this decision is shameful and scandalous.

"The decision of the Political Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on the recommendation for Kosovo's admission to membership in the Council of Europe is shameful and scandalous, which destroys all the principles on which the Council of Europe rests because it was proposed for the first time the acceptance of a territory that is not a member of the United Nations and is not recognized internationally", said Dacic.

Furthermore, Dacic said that the decision threatens the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

"The decision represents another proof of the return and end of international law", said Dacic. / CNA
