The Kiev army confirms/ Wagner returns to the east of the country

The head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilya Yevlash, confirmed in a comment to RBC-Ukraine that the fighters of the Wagner militia returned to the east of the country occupied by Russia.

"In the territory of the Eastern Group of Forces there are fighters of the Wagner militia. The formation of about 8 thousand mercenaries who were in camps in Belarus and who are now negotiating contracts with the Ministry of Defense of Russia", after the failed uprising of Yevgeny Prigozhin on June 24, ANSA reports.

In his statement, he emphasized that the mercenaries of the Wagner group now do not represent a turning point for the Russians in the fighting.

 "They will not pose a significant threat, as before, since their leader, Prigozhin, is no longer there. These people are indeed among the best-trained soldiers in the Russian army, but they will not become a threat important, a game changer", he concluded./ CNA
