Members of the Kosovo Police are seen in the village of Banjské, after its opening on September 27.

The village of Banjské i Zveçan, in the north of Kosovo, was opened at noon on Wednesday, reported the Radio Free Europe (REL) team in the field.

On September 24, near the monastery in Banjska, an armed fight took place between the Kosovo Police and an armed group.

As a result, an official of the Kosovo Police and three attackers were killed. Kosovo considers this attack as terrorist.

At noon on Wednesday, the REL team noticed that the village is empty and people are mostly locked in their houses.

On the way to the village, only members of the special units of the Kosovo Police are seen.

The Radio Free Europe team has managed to talk to some residents.

They expressed dismay and said that they do not know what happened.

"We are terrified, we need someone to tell us what happened", said a resident of Serbian nationality in Banjska.

According to her, the situation on Sunday was more serious than the war.

"We entered the house at first darkness", she told REL.

In that area, in addition to the REL team, many other teams of journalists were seen.

The Kosovo authorities have said that the vice president of Lista Serbe - the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo - Millan Radoicic organized the attacks and was part of them.
