Due to the earthquake that affected 10 cities in Kahramanmara?, an explosion and fire occurred in the natural gas pipeline in Topbo?az? village of K?r?khan district of Hatay.

The head of Topbo?az? village Bilal Alpdo?an noted that an explosion of fire occurred in two different places, 200 meters below the village and 3 kilometers away.

It is learned that the fire is still going on and the fires are active

In the statement made by the local officials, it is said that as a precautionary measure, the flow of natural gas was stopped in Hatay city center and K?r?khan district, in Kahramanmara? city center and in Pazarc?k and Narl? districts. 

Technical teams are carrying out the necessary checks and interventions in the field, Turkish CNN reports.

According to the Turkish media, the necessary works have been carried out to ensure the flow of gas and as a result of the checks made on the crude oil pipelines, no damages have been found. /CNA.al
