US President Donald Trump stated that Israel could end the war with Iran at the same time the United States decides to do so.
Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Trump stressed that the US has taken very strong strikes against Iran.
"We have hit Iran extremely hard. I don't know if it can be hit any harder," he said.
He also used harsh tones towards the Iranian regime, describing it as "thugs, animals and terrible people."
Asked if Israel would be willing to stop the war in Iran if the US made such a decision, Trump replied: “I think so.” He added that relations between the two countries are very good and that both “want more or less the same things” and aim for “victory.”
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said that the United States does not depend on it, while emphasizing that other countries use this strategic sea route./ CNA
