War in Iran/ Revolutionary Guard spokesman killed in attack

Iranian state television has reported that the spokesman for Iran's Revolutionary Guard was killed in a US-Israeli attack.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that their spokesman, Ali Mohammad Naini, has been killed during airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel, marking another high-profile casualty in the conflict.

In a statement published on the official Sepah News website, the Guard described the attack as a "cowardly criminal terrorist attack by the American-Zionist side at dawn" and said Naini "was martyred."

Iranian state media also reported that Naini had served as an IRGC spokesman since 2024. So far, there has been no independent confirmation or comment from Israel or the United States on the incident.
