Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic declared that he had a telephone conversation with the new President of the USA, Donald Trump. He emphasized that he believes in a stronger partnership with the USA under his leadership and expressed the desire for the new American president to visit Serbia.

"I am grateful to President Trump who knows a lot about Serbia. You won't believe it, he even talked about the sports successes of our country. I used the opportunity to express my desire and hope to further improve our relations in all spheres of social life and that he will visit Serbia because Serbia was the country where the support for the election of President Trump was the highest in all of Europe", said Vucic in a video posted on the social network profile "Instagram".

He emphasized that Donald Trump thanked him for the support he has received from the citizens of Serbia and from the Serbian people, Serbian media reports.

"I am sure that, with the support of our friends, and by friends I mean the entire circle of President Trump, who were also with him during the conversation tonight, we will be able to make America great, and we, Serbia, a country of worthy, that can cooperate very well with the United States", said Vucic.
