At least 20 killed by Israeli attack in Gaza

Palestinian health officials said an Israeli airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip has killed at least 20 people, most of them women and children.

Hossam Abu Safiya, the director of a hospital that received the victims, said the attack, which took place late on Monday, November 4, hit a house in Beit Lahija where several families were sheltering.

Among the victims were eight women and six children, according to the list published by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on these reports.

Israel has been conducting a major offensive in northern Gaza for almost a month. He has ordered the complete evacuation of Beit Lahija, a town near Beit Hanun and the refugee camp in Jabaliya, an area where humanitarian aid has not been allowed to be sent for more than a month.
