At least 16 dead in heatwave in Italy / Asphalt melts in Milan

At least 16 people have died in the heatwave that is hitting Italy, according to data from Italian authorities.

Since the beginning of the week, 6 people have lost their lives while at resorts or working in the sun.

At least 10 other elderly people have died in hospitals across the country, who had been admitted to the emergency room with severe symptoms of dehydration.

Meanwhile, in Rome, power outages continue to occur due to overloading of the electrical grid. A series of fires also broke out in the wider area of ??the Italian capital.
