'Epstein' scandal/ Former British ambassador to the US arrested

Peter Mandelson, 72, who was the former British ambassador to the United States, has been arrested by London police as part of an open investigation into possible misconduct in relation to his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

He left his ambassadorial position in September 2025, when details began to emerge about his relationship with Epstein, a convicted sex offender, according to British reports.
