An explosion in a St. Petersburg cafe on Sunday killed popular Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. He has publicly supported the attack against Ukraine. The authorities said that as a result of the attack in the second largest city in Russia, 16 people were injured.

Russian media did not say whether anyone had claimed responsibility for the attack, but mentioned a person who entered the cafe with an explosive device.

The Ministry of the Interior said that all those present in the cafe at the time of the explosion will be investigated.
