Serbia wants to investigate calls for armed rebellion

The Belgrade High Prosecutor's Office announced on December 2 that it has submitted a request to the Serbian Police to collect the necessary information regarding leaflets calling for an armed rebellion and change of the constitutional order of Serbia.

These flyers have been placed in mailboxes of citizens on a street in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, the announcement of the Serbian Prosecutor's Office said.

The Serbian police have also been ordered to urgently reveal the identity of the people who prepared and distributed these flyers, which contain two QR codes.

One of the QR codes leads to a website, while the other leads to an Instagram profile, both with the title "gunpowder fist".

Investigations will be conducted to determine whether there are elements of the criminal offense "Calling for the violent change of the constitutional order" from Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Serbia, the Belgrade High Prosecutor's Office said.

The mentioned pamphlet has the title "Call for armed rebellion and change of the constitutional order of the Republic of Serbia".

It mentions which citizens of Serbia should be denied the right to vote guaranteed by the Serbian Constitution, what are the necessary affinities for citizens to realize this right, and the stages of realizing this goal are listed, the announcement said. of the High Prosecutor's Office of Belgrade./ REL
