The police in Hamburg have announced that the citizen who kidnapped his daughter and shot at the Hamburg airport has surrendered to the police.

According to what is reported in the foreign media, the man drove beyond the security limit and entered the runway of the airport on Saturday evening, together with his four-year-old daughter.

In the end, he surrendered to the authorities "without resisting", according to the police, who arrested him.

"The child seems not to have been injured," the police said through a post on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
