Police checks in the north, find explosive devices in Mitrovica

On Saturday, the Kosovo Police is carrying out checks in the north of Kosovo, as part of the investigation into the aggression of September 24 in Banjské in Zveçan, where Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku lost his life as a result.

During today's action, in a basement in the "Tre Rrokaqiejt" location, the police found explosive devices.

The news was confirmed by the deputy director of the Kosovo Police in the northern region, Veton Elshani.

It is not yet known if there have been any arrests in connection with this case.

The situation between Kosovo and Serbia continues to remain tense. The European Union calls for dialogue and calm, while Albin Kurti accuses the Serbian government of a terrorist attack./ CNA
