A serious incident occurred in Texas, USA, where the vehicle in which a family of four was traveling was hit by a car driven by a drunk person.

The tragic accident occurred on a Texas highway as the family was returning from a Christmas party. The powerful collision killed the couple, their 5-year-old daughter, and the only survivor was their 3-year-old son.

According to police, the accident was caused by a 27-year-old woman who was under the influence of alcohol when she ended up in the wrong lane with her vehicle. She was arrested by authorities shortly after the accident.

According to reports, the minor boy is in the hospital and is expected to undergo surgery to treat his injuries. /CNA
