Parliament approves changes/ 13 new ministers in Ukraine

The Ukrainian parliament has approved with 253 votes in favor the new Ukrainian government under the leadership of Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko, approving a package of 13 appointments to key ministries.

The composition of the new cabinet marks a broad shake-up, retaining key figures from the previous government, such as Andriy Sbykha, who remains foreign minister.

According to the official announcement, the new ministers are:

Mykhailo Fedorov: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation

Oleksiy Kuleba: Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister of Community and Territorial Development

Taras Katska: Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration

Oleksiy Sobolev: Minister of Economy, Agriculture and Environment

Svytlana Grinchuk: Minister of Energy

Natalya Kalmykova: Minister of Veterans Affairs

Igor Klimenko: Minister of Internal Affairs

Oksen Lisov: Minister of Education and Science

Viktor Lyasko: Minister of Health

Herman Halushenko: New Minister of Justice

Matvey Bidny: Minister of Youth and Sports

Sergey Marchenko: Minister of Finance

Denis Ulyutin: Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity
