The deadline for sending comments to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy is 15 days," says the MIE announcement.

This is not the only application regarding wind energy projects made in recent years, but their number is significantly lower than that for photovoltaic energy.

From ERE so far there are only two licenses for the production of energy from the wind, as earlier the government announced the winners of the auctions for the wind plants. Specifically, in July of last year, the winners were announced for a capacity of 222 MW.

At that time, the merger of Total EREN and KMV sh.pk gave the lowest bid in the government auction for wind energy capacities. The price offered was 44.88 euros/MWh for a capacity of 75MW, while two other companies announced as winners offered prices very close to the ceiling set by the government.

Specifically, the second lowest offer came from GurisINSAAT, Morgan Energy and BRD Energy sh.pk for a capacity of 75 MW and a price of 74 euros/MWh, while the third offer came from Verbung AG for a capacity of 72.6 MW and a price of 74.95 euros /MWh. /Monitor
