The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has criticized the members of the Assembly of Serbia for electing Bozhidar Deli? among the vice presidents of this institution.

Osmani's reaction comes after she said that Deliq was involved in the war in Kosovo.

Through a post on Twitter, Osmani drew parallels between the Assembly of Serbia and Kosovo regarding the profile of the vice presidents of these institutions.

"In Kosovo, Saranda Bogujevci, a survivor of a brutal massacre by the genocidal regime of Serbia, serves as the deputy speaker of the Assembly," Osmani wrote.

He was the leader of the right-wing coalition, NADA (Hope) before the elections in Serbia, which were held on April 3 of this year.

During the war in Kosovo in 1999, Bozhidar Deli? was the commander of the 549th Brigade of the Yugoslav Army.

The Humanitarian Law Fund in Belgrade, which investigates war crimes, has filed two criminal charges against him for what they said were crimes in Kosovo, but no criminal proceedings have ever been initiated against Delic.

As a defense witness, he appeared before the Hague Tribunal in the trials against the former president of Serbia, Slobodan Milosevic, and Vladimir Lazarevic, who was convicted by the Hague Tribunal for war crimes in Kosovo.

Deli? has repeatedly said that he would not hand over Ratko Mladi?, convicted of war crimes and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the Hague Court. REL
