Germany with new measures against COVID-19

The German government on August 3 said basic coronavirus measures would be in place through the fall and winter, when experts expect cases of COVID-19 to rise again as people spend more time indoors.

Masks and the presentation of proof that a person is not infected will be mandatory starting from October and until April next year in care homes and similar institutions that treat the most vulnerable people.

Passengers on planes and those traveling by train and bus to long-distance destinations will also be required to wear masks during this period.

Qeveria gjermane po ashtu ka plane që të nisë një fushatë për vaksinim kundër koronavirusit gjatë vjeshtës.

“Gjermania duhet të përgatitet më mirë për koronavirus në dimër, më mirë sesa vitin e kaluar”, tha ministri i Shëndetësisë, Karl Lauterbach.

The new measures must receive the approval of the cabinet and the Parliament before entering into force, and it is expected that they will be approved in both institutions.
