The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, expressed her position today regarding the situation created in the country by the failure for the 48th time to constitute the Assembly.

In a press conference, Osmani stressed that he will address this issue to the Constitutional Court if a constitution is not reached over the weekend.

"We are preparing the case for the Constitutional Court and if even during the weekend there is no agreement that could result in constituted institutions, at the beginning of the week we will address the Court, but we do not know how long it will take for it to respond. I am convinced that as for any other deadline, a binding deadline, even for this deadline which the Court has declared binding and constitutional, if it is not respected, there should be legal consequences. I am not talking about criminal consequences. Legal consequences mean what happens to the institutions if they are not constituted by July 26?", - Osmani declared. /CNA
