"He hasn't lost his sense of humor"/ Meloni visits Pope Francis in the hospital

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has gone to Rome's Gemelli Polyclinic to visit Pope Francis.

The news was announced by the Italian Prime Minister's website . The Prime Minister's statement said that Meloni found the Holy Father in good condition.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has gone to the Policlinico Gemelli to visit the Holy Father. Meloni expressed her wishes to Pope Francis for a speedy recovery, on behalf of the government and the entire nation.

"I am very happy to find him alert and responsible," said Prime Minister Meloni. "We joked as always. He has not lost his proverbial sense of humor."

 

Pope Francis has been hospitalized since Friday at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The Holy Father was initially treated for bronchitis, but later began treatment for bilateral pneumonia. His health has raised concerns, but the Vatican press office announced that his condition is stable./ CNA
