Parliamentary elections are being held in Kosovo today, the first regular elections since the declaration of independence in 2008.
There are 28 political entities and one independent candidate in the race.
Four candidates are running for prime minister: Albin Kurti from LVV, Bedri Hamza from PDK, Lumir Abdixhiku from LDK, and Ramush Haradinaj from the AAK-Nisma coalition and other partners.
Over 2 million citizens, inside and outside Kosovo, have the right to vote.
Voting began at 07:00 in the morning and closes at 19:00 throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
941 polling centers have opened in 38 municipalities of Kosovo, while voting has also begun in North Mitrovica./ CNA
