"He intended to blackmail me"/ Bill Gates' testimony about his

Details have been released from the testimony that Microsoft founder Bill Gates gave on June 10 before the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee regarding his relationship with the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the published documents, Gates mentioned by name for the first time the two Russian women with whom he had had extramarital affairs and stated that Epstein was aware of these relationships, trying to use them as a means of pressure against him.

During his testimony, Gates identified the two women as Mila Antonova and Karima Nigamatulina. He said Epstein had information about these relationships and attempted to use it to exert pressure.

At the heart of the case is a draft email dated July 18, 2013, made public by the US Department of Justice. The email was allegedly drafted by Epstein himself, possibly on behalf of Boris Nikolic, a close Gates associate and outgoing science advisor.

The text included allegations that Gates sought medication to cope with the consequences of sexual relations with Russian women, organized secret meetings with married women and used stimulants.

Bill Gates described the contents of the email as an "attempted blackmail," although he clarified that it is not known whether the message was ever sent or remained in draft form. According to him, the document contained a combination of real facts and exaggerations, aimed at strengthening the negotiating position of the people involved.

"Epstein never directly blackmailed me, but looking at these emails there is a serious possibility that he may have considered doing so," Gates said.

He also stressed that he was unaware of Epstein's criminal activities during the period they had contact between 2011 and 2014, adding that their meetings were mainly related to philanthropic initiatives and international charity projects.

Meanwhile, the testimony of Epstein's former assistant, Lesley Groff, has also been published, who stated that she organized massage appointments for her boss almost every day, but insisted that she had no knowledge of illegal activities or the involvement of minors.

Groff described Epstein as a man with a "double life," saying he posed as a respected businessman while in reality operating in a manipulative and deceptive manner.

She also revealed that she had occasionally arranged phone conversations between Epstein and Donald Trump, approximately once every three months, but said she had no information about the reasons why communication between them later ceased. /CNA
