Jordan partially closes airspace

Jordan's Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission has announced that the country's airspace will be closed to all aircraft from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM daily (local time) until further notice.

According to the official statement, the decision was taken following current regional developments and a risk assessment in line with international standards. Civil aviation officials stressed that this measure is a precautionary measure for flight safety.

Daytime flights will continue as normal, but travelers are advised to contact airlines for information on schedules and different flight options.

This decision comes at a tense period in the Middle East, where several countries have restricted or closed their airspace following recent regional developments./ CNA
