Israel says it will carry out intensive attacks on Hamas in response to what it claims are repeated violations of the Trump-brokered Gaza ceasefire plan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to carry out intensive attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Israel has accused Hamas of firing on Israeli forces and calls it a deliberate conspiracy to deceive, not hand over troops.

Last night, Hamas handed over what it said were the remains of another Israeli hostage. But Israel says forensic tests showed they belonged to a body already removed from Gaza two years ago.

Hamas says it is postponing the planned handover of another dead hostage due to Israeli attacks.

Hamas says Israel is to blame for the delay in the handovers by hindering the excavation work needed to find the bodies./ CNA, translated by BBC
