Former President Donald Trump said he was "very confident" he will win the presidential election.
During a statement to the media from the polling station in Palm Beach, Trump said that the Republicans are leading the election.
"I feel very safe. I hear we are doing very well everywhere. It seems that we have a more substantial leadership, more Republican citizens are voting", he said.
However, the former American president expressed disappointment about the release of the final result, as he stressed that it may take some time.
"The release of the result will not be close, it will take a long time to be certified," declared Donald Trump./ CNA
