Advisor to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, reacted today after US President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran, giving it a specific deadline to come to terms with the ongoing war.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf had previously warned that America has a limited time to surrender or its allies will return to the Stone Age.
"Iran has clearly and unequivocally won the war and will only accept an end that consolidates its gains and creates a new security regime in the region. The real situation is this: Trump has about 20 hours to either surrender to Iran or make his allies return to the Stone Age. We will not back down!", Mohammad wrote today on the 'X' platform.
The stance comes at a time when all statements between the two countries have intensified, and this Tuesday, the UN Security Council is expected to vote on a resolution related to the Strait of Hormuz. /CNA
