The passport of Kosovo has increased by 90 places in the Passport Index of VisaGuide.Ëorld.

For the month of January, the passport of Kosovo is now ranked 98th, while previously it was ranked 188th.

The founder of VisaGuide.Ëorld, Besart Bajrami, has considered the movement for 90 positions in this index as a "historic achievement."

"This is a historic achievement for Kosovo, as well as a historic climb to the index of the most powerful passports in the world, which shows that only the EU has the exclusive authority to increase the power of a passport overnight,"  said Bajrami.

From January 1, 2024, holders of biometric passports of Kosovo can travel without visas to 44 countries of the world. / CNA
