Germany will give Syria 8 million euros in humanitarian aid

Germany's Foreign Ministry announced that it will provide an additional 8 million euros ($8.4 million) in humanitarian aid to Syria.

In a statement to the media, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that "we know a moment of hope, despite the fact that the situation is not so stable.

She said that the return of Syrian refugees should be coordinated with partners in Europe and the UN.

The German minister called on Israel and Turkey not to take risks in the formation of a new Syrian government.

"We must not allow the internal Syrian dialogue process to be torpedoed from outside. Neighbors such as the Turkish and Israeli governments, who are pursuing their own security interests, should not jeopardize the process." /CNA
