The Ukrainian Foreign Minister resigns to pave the way for the reformation of
Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is reported to be the latest cabinet member to resign after the country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced plans to reshuffle the cabinet as the country grapples with the war launched by Russia, two and a half years ago.

Announcing the resignation of Kulebas, the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said that the resignation of the Foreign Minister will be discussed by the lawmakers in the Parliament.

A day ago, Stefanchuk said that the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olha Stefanishyna, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, have offered their resignations.

Zelensky has said that the changes in the Ukrainian Government will be made to strengthen the executive and bring the results that the state needs.

"For this reason, there will be personnel changes in the cabinet of ministers and the office of the president", he said on September 3, giving signals that the changes will be made during the fall.

A day ago, the ministers of Strategic Industry, Justice and Environment also resigned.

Explaining the changes, Zelensky said that Ukraine needs more interaction between the Central Government and communities, especially as the country prepares for the winter season.

The war in Ukraine started on February 24, 2022.

Russian President Vladimir Putin calls the war a "special military operation" to demilitarize Ukraine.

The West has responded to Russia, hitting the economy of this country with harsh sanctions.

As a result of the war, thousands of people died and millions more were displaced from their homes./ Rel
