Blinken takohet me kryeministrin izraelit/ Thirrje për armëpushim të menjëhershëm në Gaza

Sekretari amerikan i Shtetit, Antony Blinken ndodhet në Izrael përpara votimit të OKB-së për një projekt-rezolutë të SHBA-së, e cila bën thirrje për një armëpushim të menjëhershëm në Gaza, lidhur me lirimin e pengjeve të mbajtura nga Hamasi.

Është hera e parë që SHBA ka mbështetur thirrjet për një armëpushim të menjëhershëm në rajon, pasi më parë kanë bllokuar kërkesa të tilla në OKB.

BBC raporton se Blinken po takohet me kryeministrin izraelit Benjamin Netanyahu ndërsa SHBA po bëhen gjithnjë e më kritike ndaj fushatës ushtarake të Izraelit.

Një vlerësim i sigurisë ushqimore i mbështetur nga OKB këtë javë tha se 1.1 milion njerëz në Gaza po luftonin me urinë dhe urinë katastrofike.

Hamasi sulmoi Izraelin më 7 tetor, duke vrarë rreth 1200 njerëz dhe duke marrë peng 253 të tjerë.

Hamasi deklaron më shumë se 31,900 njerëz janë vrarë në Gaza që kur Izraeli filloi ofensivën e tij hakmarrëse për të eliminuar Hamasin./CNA
