Albanian drug baron arrested in Colombia/Identity revealed

The Albanian drug lord arrested in the Colombian city of Boyaca has been identified. According to Colombian media outlet "El Tiempo", it is citizen Genti Krasniqi, who is internationally wanted by Italy's Interpol. Krasniqi is accused of criminal connections and drug trafficking.

Colombian media reports that Krasniqi traveled from Bogotá to Boyacá to undergo a procedure at the agency's offices, where he was discovered during security checks. According to authorities, he allegedly tried to evade security by traveling to Tunja, believing it would be easier to pass unnoticed there.

After identifying him, Migración Colombia handed him over to the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, which will continue the extradition process through its Office of International Affairs.
