The plane that crashed the day before, where it was reported that it was the head of the group Wagner Prigozhin, is reported to be among the safest planes in the world.

It is the Embraer Legacy 600 and it is manufactured by a company based in Brazil.

The Brazil-based company began operations in 2002 and has since produced 300 private jets.

There is only one recorded accident involving a Legacy 600, according to International Aviation HQ, which occurred in 2006 when it collided mid-air with a Gol Boeing 737-800 on its way from the Embraer factory in Brazil to the United States.

Despite the damage to the aircraft, the pilot landed the Embraer and there were no fatalities or injuries. The Boeing commercial airliner crashed and all 154 passengers were killed.

Two years later, a Brazilian air force report blamed the two American pilots, traffic controllers and faulty communications for the mid-air crash.

The Embraer company recently stated that it has information about the crash of an aircraft produced by it in Russia, but did not provide details./ CNA
