School bus collides with truck, six dead and dozens injured in USA

Six people were killed Tuesday in Ohio after a bus carrying high school students collided with a truck.

Authorities said the death toll from Tuesday's accident has risen to six. More than 18 others were injured, according to the Associated Press . A total of five vehicles were involved in the accident.

" This is our worst nightmare, when we have a bus full of children involved in an accident. Prayers go out to the families, everyone who was on the bus." - said the governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine during a press conference at the site of the accident.

In addition to the bus and truck, three other vehicles with passengers were also involved in the accident. The victims are three students and three passengers of other vehicles aged 15-56.

The strong collision caused a fire, and as a result the vehicles were engulfed in flames, while the causes of this serious accident are still unknown./ CNA
