Two officials are arrested in Kosovo for forging official documents

Two officials of the Center for Civil Registration in Obiliq have been arrested under the suspicion of abusing their duties by enabling the falsification of identification documents for another person.

The Kosovo Police informed that the arrested are the citizens with the initials IM and AG

They are suspected of having helped a person with the initials FA, to be equipped with two other false identities, in addition to his valid identification document as a citizen of Kosovo.

In relation to the case in question, all the investigative actions defined in the authorization issued by PTH - Prishtina and additional actions that were considered necessary have been undertaken.

They were interrogated by the police on Monday and the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina ordered their detention for 48 hours, pending further legal proceedings./ CNA
