Ceasefire in doubt/ Netanyahu threatens: Respect the agreement, otherwise we return to war

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that is set to take effect on Sunday may not last long, after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that unless the Palestinian militant group hands over a list of Israeli hostages it will release during the ceasefire, it will be terminated.

Netanyahu made it clear that he wants all points of the ceasefire agreement to be strictly fulfilled, and the list of names of Israeli hostages is one of them. Otherwise, Israel is ready to continue the war, and Netanyahu added that Hamas is solely responsible for this.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has been going on for 15 months, claiming the lives of over 1,700 Israelis and nearly 47,000 Palestinians. /CNA
